Pair Antique 18th C. Meissen Porcelain Dulong Variant Molded Plates with Flowers

About the Item

A fine pair of antique Meissen Dulong Variant plates. By the Royal Meissen Porcelain Manufactory. Decorated with Deutsche Blumen floral sprays to the center and sides including roses, tulips, morning glories, and other various flowers. The Dulong Variant pattern has molded rim with raised birds, and the edge of the rim is slightly scalloped and gilt. All in all, simply a fine pair of antique Meissen porcelain plates! Date: circa 1760 Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. Condition Details: There is some wear to the glaze here & there, and some rubbing to the gilding on both the accents and the rim. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Meissen Pattern: Dulong Molded Variant Marks: Marked to the base with a blue underglaze crossed swords Meissen factory mark. Measurements: Diameter: ca. 9 3/4 in. Height: ca. 1 1/2 in.
