English Minton Porcelain Plates for Rhodes Bros Tacoma, Set of 4

About the Item

A rare set of four (4) English Minton porcelain plates, circa early-20th century, England. Plates were made exclusively for Rhodes Bros. Tacoma department store which opened in 1903, Tacoma, Washington. In addition to the beautiful flower and leaf design at center and around plates surface and edge, plates' have a beautiful red edge detail (please see image #8.) All four plates are marked on bottom with stores' identity (Rhodes Bros. Tacoma.) Makers' mark (Mintons), and handwritten marks on bottom of all as shown in images. A great set for entertaining, for appetizers, mix and match with other plates to make an interesting tablescape, etc. Dimensions: 6.19" Diameter.
