About the Item

MoMA and Architonic attribute the design of this fabulous vibrant green ceramic stackable Cone table service to Joe Colombo for the Espace Pierre Cardin store in Paris in 1970. Other sources say it was designed by Italian ceramist Ambroglio Pozzi for his father's company Ceramica Franco Pozzi. The set includes six plates of assorted sizes. It is signed on the back with the stamp of manufacturer Ceramica Franco Pozzi and the signature of Pierre Cardin. A specimen of this set in brown is in the permanent collection of Joe Colombo at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York.
