About the Item
Set of four Spode ''NEW STONE'' plates, the rim with dimpled edges, border decorated with stylized flowers and foliage , center with similar motifs on a larger scale as well as a dragon fly, all in various shades of blue and coral , gilt accents throughout. On the back is the impressed SPODES NEW STONE mark. These plates are in quite remarkable condition to be essentially two hundred years old.
