An exquisite example of 19th-century Bohemian craftsmanship, this double overlay perfume bottle features milky white and rose pink opaline glass.
The body is cut into six side panels, each bordered by the delicate glass overlay and hand-painted with vibrant gilded enamel, a rich array of scrollwork and floral motifs. The base and rim are further enhanced with elegant gilded highlights.
The stopper cut into six panels and adorned with complementary gilding, overlay and enamel work.
A richly cut and decorated bottom showcases the superior quality and detail for which Bohemian glassmakers of the 19th century are renowned.
