Antique English Stourbridge hand engraved glass vase circa 1890

About the Item

This remarkable late Victorian hand blown glass vase was manufactured in Stourbridge circa 1890 and most likely at the Webbs Factory. It is very finely wheel engraved with a deeply cut design of an exotic bird with a long slender beak and an elegant display of tail feathers standing amongst trailing stems with foliage and beautiful large flowers. On the underside, the polished pontil has been finished with a hand cut star design. A fine vase, in excellent original condition with no damage. Height 17cm x width 12cm x depth 12cm
