Antique English Wrythen Glass Bugle

About the Item

A fine quality antique English wrythen glass bugle dating from the 19th century. The bugle has a blown and hand twisted body in the form of a bugle with a wrythen twist to the body and a ribbed section to the mouthpiece. The bugle has a large cup shaped bell with a fold over rim and is not marked. Offered in exceptional original condition and clearly well cared for without any damage or wear. Provenance: From a wonderful and choice collection of small cabinet pieces many of which we are currently offering on 1stdibs. Acquired in the UK Art Market.
