Barbini Murano Biomorphic Red & Black Glass Gold Leaf Bowl

About the Item

This is a magnificent 1950/60's Venetian biomorphic glass bowl, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Most likely made by Barbini. In a stunning combination of opaque red glass cased in black glass, with a wonderful controlled bubble effect known as bullicante and gold leaf inclusions encased in the glass. Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included.
