Barbini Murano Gold Leaf & Aventurine Biomorphic Glass Bowl

About the Item

Here is a wonderful 1950/60's Venetian freeform glass ashtray bowl/dish, made on the island of Murano, near Venice, Italy. Made by Barbini, unmarked, but this design can be found online, with their factory label. In a stunning combination of opaque white glass encased in clear glass, with loads of gold leaf in the glass on the outside / underneath, and copper aventurine on the inside / top. Please note: the plastic stand is for display purposes only and is not included. Size Measures approx 2.25 inches tall by 6 inches in diameter at widest point. Condition Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, just a small dimpled mark to the edge of the base rim, shown in final picture.
