A beutiful and one of a kind Murano glass and mosaic sculpture to represent a swamp with frogs, butterfly and flower. Made by Manuel Bortolotto in 2016. Qui, a Venezia, monumento unico per la ricchezza della sua storia con la maestosità delle Sue facciate e dei Palazzi, splendido laboratorio in cui hanno operato per secoli grandi artisti italiani ed europei dove perfezione e arte sono di casa, non solo nel pennello dei Grandi, Tiepolo, Canaletto … ma anche nella sua gente, che del ben fare e del ben costruire , dai Maestri agli artigiani, ha costruito una tra le Più belle città del mondo, la Serenissima, Manuel Bortolotto vi è nato, cresciuto ed oggi, vi espone le Sue opere con una collezione di complementi d’arredo di lusso, sculture, realizzate con la tecnica del mosaico, arricchite con il vetro di Murano, che crea in collaborazione con i Più grandi Maestri Vetrai. Al Lido di Venezia, presso il suo atelier, Manuel Bortolotto, pensa e produce complementi d’ arredo e opere che “sente”, includendo la sua filosofia che ogni pezzo dovrebbe essere eseguito perfettamente fino al minimo particolare. Introdotto nel campo del restauro del mobile ed antiquariato come autodidatta, Manuel Bortolotto si sente partecipe del lavoro minuzioso dei mobili antichi. Con il Tempo ha saputo ampliare i suoi orizzonti artistici con la decorazione d’ interni e da lì è passato al Disegno di qualche pezzo, presentati oggi a Venezia presso il suo atelier-laboratorio L’artista desidera che le opere palpitino e diventino pezzi unici con l’ impronta di gesto e pensiero. Manuel Bortolotto ha una vera passione per i materiali, un’ ossessione per il dettaglio, ama concepire degli spazi unici giocando con colori di Vetri e mosaici. La sua nuova collezione di mobili, sculture ed opere vi è testimonianza.. Venice, with its unique history, the majesty of its palaces and façades, has over the centuries represented a magnificent open-aired workshop where great Italian and European artists have plied their Craft to perfection. This perfection is not only visible in the works of the great, such as Canaletto and Tiepolo, but also in the creations of the ordinary crafstmen, whose labours have contributed to the building of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. This is the place where Manuel Bortolotto was born and brought up, and where he displays his collection of interior design luxury objects, sculptures, made with the mosaic technique and Murano glass realized in cooperation with the most important glass blowers. At his Atelier in Venice Lido, Manuel Bortolotto conceives and produces his unique furniture and Art Works. Each piece, “being lived intensely”, embodies his philosophy and lifestyle, and reveals his absolute care for detail and expertise in the choice of his materials. Trained in the Fine arts, Manuel Bortolotto took up furniture restoration as an amateur but quickly succeeded in honouring the spirit of the original craftsmen. As his art horizons widened, Manuel Bortolotto moved from interior design to the production of furniture and interior design objects of great worth that are presently on display at his workshop. The artist share the belief that furniture and design objects should be unique, each exclusively reflecting the artist’s gesture and thought. Manuel Bortolotto has a real passion for materials, and an obsession for detail; he adoringly develops his creations by manipulating colours, mosaics and polychromatic glasses. The new collection of furniture, sculptures and art works there is testimony.
