Fritz Heckert 19th Century Bohemian Enameled Goblet Set of 4
About the Item
This exquisite set of 4 x enameled Bohemian goblets is attributed to Fritz Heckert, a master glassmaker renowned for his detailed hand-painted designs. Each goblet is a striking example of 19th-century luxury glassware, featuring intricate gilded and polychrome enamel decoration in an elaborate Moorish or Persian-inspired pattern.
The bowl of each goblet is meticulously adorned with a repeating gilded trefoil and floral motif, set against a warm amber-toned ground. The upper rim showcases a delicate blue and white scrolling border, enhancing the elegance of the design. The finely blown stems feature ornate knop details with applied glass accents, leading down to a wide, sturdy base. The foot of each goblet is further embellished with hand-applied cobalt blue and gold enamel, creating a cohesive and visually striking presentation.
