Helena Turpeinen (Tynell) Line-engraved Vase, Riihimäen Lasi

About the Item

Rare and early line-engraved vase by Helena Turpeinen Tynell. The vase is signed Helena Turpeinen which dates it at pre 1947 when she married Paavo Tynell and took the Tynell last name. This minimalistic vase has a beautiful greenish tone and line engravings that are seen more in works by Tapio Wirkkala. The vase is in beautiful original condition. A definite must have for any art glass collector,a s tis piece is rarely seen.
