About the Item

ntainer with lid in Murano glass designed by Vittorio Zecchin in 1930. The container is made entirely of amber blown Murano glass with red inserts on the lid and on the neck of the base. It can be used as a container for biscuits or chocolates, or simply as a table centrepiece. In excellent and original condition, slight scratches and light wear consistent with their time and use. Also during the thirties and in the last decade of his life, he also devoted himself to teaching, collaborating with several Venetian professional institutes, including the “School for the Glass Industry” of Murano (in 1934) and the school for glass apprentices “Abate Zanetti” (since 1936), making use in the teaching activity of two brochures written by himself, one on the history of glass
