Elegante portafoto prodotto da Gallotti & Radice negli anni 70, base in metallo cromato, struttura in vetro di forte spessore, eccellenti condizioni. Due menti, un’aspirazione, un desiderio. La voglia di creare, di trasformare e di interpretare. Una passione comune: il vetro. È cosi che nasce un laboratorio di idee. Era il 1955. Pierangelo Gallotti e Luigi Radice fondano uno spazio artistico dedicato alla decorazione del vetro. Tradizione e innovazione si mescolano e creano una piccola e preziosa produzione. I primi lavori sono apparecchi per l’illuminazione, articoli per l’arredo, specchi. Tutti pezzi unici. Tutti realizzati esclusivamente a mano. Crescere, innovarsi, fare ricerca. I due soci capiscono che non ci si può fermare alla produzione artistica ed alla decorazione e sentono il bisogno ed il desiderio di ampliare la collezione. Si iscrivono quindi alla scuola d’Arte applicata all’industria presso il castello Sforzesco di Milano. Qui seguono corsi di disegno e di decorazione, afferrando nel dettaglio ogni aspetto del disegno tecnico e ornamentale. Nasce così un progetto unico, una nuova sfida: nasce Gallotti&Radice.
