About the Item
Exceptional set of Cenedese stem glass.
This unrepeatable set of stemware reproduces the Georgian 18th Century classic twisted stem glass. The twisted stem is in Ruby beads with a single white bead inside. Cenedese wanted to re-create the antique soda glass appearance, the transparent part of the glass is in light pulegoso, with small bubbles of air in the glass.
This set is rare to find. For Murano glass collector or lover of fine glassware
Cenedese was and is one of the important players in Murano, had an immense collection of drinking glass and no one matched his ability and skill.
He never stopped researching and experimenting, he did several museum and historical reproductions. Mostly of the classic Venetian period.
An exceptional set, rare to find in a set of 8.
