Set Six Antique Italian Venetian Salviati Lacework Wine Glasses, circa 1890
About the Item
A stunning and unusual set six Venetian Murano wine glasses with bud shaped tops attributed to Antonio Salviati and dating from the early 20th century. The hand-blown glasses have round ribbed pattern bowls with yellow tinting and gold aventurine inclusions extending down to ring and round knop mount supported on an amber tinted twist stem and spreading circular foot. The glasses have rough pontil marks and are not marked.
Provenance: Acquired from the UK art market.
In good condition with small natural making inclusions in the glass.
