About the Item
Striking and very beautiful Muller Freres large polychrome 'Jades' vase -highly fire polished and with random patches of yellow, red and brown. The vase is a simplified double gourd shape. It is fully signed 'Muller Frères Luneville' to the base see last 2 pictures. A classic example of vibrant 1920s Art Deco French glass.
The many Muller brothers started off working for most of the great Glass houses such as Emile Galle and then later got together to found their own glass empire -although quite successful in the Art Nouveau period they really came into their own in the Art Deco era.
