Vaso ROSETA, realized by Fratelli Toso Murano, 1960 circa

About the Item

The vase is meticulously handcrafted using slices of the legendary "roseta" beads, originally created in Murano but exported in Africa, India and South America as precious jewelry and forms of currency. Roseta main characteristics are its opaqueness and a number of layers of glass, resembling internal stars in white, red, and blue hues. Roseta beads have been sliced by the skillful Fratelli Toso's glass masters, exposing the internal pattern and then skillfully arranged to create a mesmerizing mosaic, showcasing the artistry and craftsmanship of the Italian heritage. The slices have been used as murrinas, with the same hot working technique to shape the final vase. Elevate your home decor with the Roseta Vase, a symbol of tradition and refined taste.
