Manufactured by the famous Danish Company RAADVAD in the 1950s
This special edition of model 294, long version, is of chromium-plated iron with board of mahogany
Raadvad is a reputable Danish company established in 1759, well known for their high quality kitchen equipment. They started making bread slicers in 1924 and developed a new model in 1939 which has not changed much since. The company still exists.
The bread slicer is fully functional for slicing rye bread or other types of firm bread and is at the same time very decorative. The thickness of the slices can be adjusted.
A very special item in excellent used condition.
Blade is sharp.
