About the Item

An antique 19th century French pewter flagon with acorn decoration on lid. Old makers marks on lid and underside which I have not been able to fully identify. Pouring wine, water or other drinks from a pewter jug offers a unique experience. The contrast between the colour of the drink and the understated colour of the pewter produces a pleasant effect that is both contemporary and antique at the same time. If you want to temporarily turn your pewter jug into a vase for fresh flowers, we are confident that the result will surprise you. A pewter pitcher resting on a piece of furniture helps to enrich the charm of the piece itself, whether modern or antique.
