18th Century Bohemian Opaline Service Set
About the Item
White opaline service set composed of a pitcher, a coffee pot, a mustard pot, and two salt cellars. They are decorated with enameled bouquets of flowers and highlighted with gilded bands. The salt cellars rest in gilded mounts that are decorated with openwork festoons which are in turn engraved with flowers. The mounts rest on four hoof-shaped feet. Central Europe (Bohemian) craftsmanship. Light wear to the gilding.
