Edwardian Period, Art Nouveau-Style, unusual, sterling silver, heart-form toast rack on ball feet, Chester, England, year hallmarked for 1913, Herbert Edward Barker (of Barker Brothers) - maker. Each of the heart-shaped sterling silver sections of the toast rack will hold a slice of toast. The handle of the toast rack is also heart-shaped. The toast rack measures 3 1/4 inches wide at widest point x 3 1/2 inches high at highest point (to top of handle) x 2 inches deep at deepest point. Beautifully designed. Dark areas on sterling silver in photos are reflections. In very good antique condition.
