A heavy Leeds style oval platter, a pearlware or creamware body with a deep blue edge called feather or shell, circa 1825–1840, Staffordshire, England. A good clean front surface with a lightly combed back. Measures: 16.75 in. L x 13.25 in. W x 1.5 in. H Great condition, the expected light surface wear, minimal darkening to the verso.
