Herend (Hungary, founded 1826), circa 1916. "Queen Victoria dined on it, and Princess Diana delighted to it in her annual Christmas stocking. Now it’s time to savor a special Herend experience of your own." - Herend USA This antique Herend platter is made in the early 20th century and features a very unique oval shape with scalloped shell handles to 4 edges of it. The center is decorated with a puce classical scene reminiscent of the antique pieces they made in the 19th century. Marked to verso with an antique Herend porcelain mark.
