Large Hand Painted French Porcelain Platter

About the Item

This large, very decorative French porcelain platter, or charger, is decorated with numerous scattered sprays of hand painted flowers. It could be displayed on a stand, on a wall or in the middle of a table as a decorative piece, or used as a fruit bowl. It has a diameter of 330 mm (13 inches) and stands 50 mm (2 inches) high. It is in very good condition. It is unmarked except for an incised workman's mark and would date from around 1900.
