Paris Porcelain Armorial demi-lune Salad Plates,
Circa 1820-40,
A Set of Six
The Paris porcelain is of a high quality. The armorial dishes have a demi-lune form and the center of each is painted with a grand armorial coat of arms with a blue shield supported by a lion and a grayhound. There is a crown topping the shield which is probably that of an Earl.
The border has a simple wavy gilt border of four thin lines overlaid with a gold and blue leaf.

Mark: Unmarked.
Dimensions: 8 5/8 inches wide x 5 1/4 inches x 1 1/4 inches high.
