Thomas Forester majolica serving tray

About the Item

This majolica serving tray by Thomas Forester is modelled as a large leaf overlaid with a strand of ivy leaves and seeds which runs down its length, and coloured with green, magenta and yellow glazes. It measures 340 mm (13.25 inches) in length, 190 mm (4.5 inches) in width and stands 42 mm (1.5 inches) high. It is in very good condition and would date from around 1880.
