18th Century Style Ludwigsburg Porcelain Reticulated or Openwork Basket

A fine German porcelain openwork or reticulated basket. By the Ludwigsburg Porcelain Manufactory. With pierced sides of interlocking circular devices above a gadrooned and ropetwist base. Having a handpainted yellow daffodil to the center and gilt highlights to high points throughout. A wonderful bowl from one of Germany's most storied porcelain manufacturers! Date: 20th century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Maker: Ludwigsburg Marks: Marked to the base with a blue underglaze Ludwigsburg maker's mark Measurements: Width: ca. 7 3/4 in. Depth: ca. 6 1/4 in. Height: ca. 2 3/4 in.
