About the Item

Decorate a kitchen wall, a breakfast room or a restaurant with this large and colorful antique platter. Crafted in France circa 1870 and round in shape, the charming hand painted porcelain plate features a country landscape scene with sheep grazing and drinking under the shepherdess supervision; the artwork is signed by the artist, Olivier. Wonderful details throughout the painting. The important charger is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, and adorn colorful and vivid colors; the plate is further embellished with a band of gold leaf decor around the rim. 17.75" Diameter
