Antique French Hand-Painted Kingfisher Porcelain Plate, 19th Century

ANTIQUE BIRD PLATE An extremely charming original hand-painted depiction of a kingfisher in a naturalistic setting on a porcelain plate. Inscribed verso ‘Le Martin-Pêcheur’ which translates as ‘The Kingfisher’ and is signed by the artist ‘HLB’. Circa 1870 in date. It is in very good vintage condition with only minor wear. Measuring 25cm diameter x 3cm high.
