Chinese Export Blue & White Pilgrim or Moon Flask
About the Item
a warm water spring pond; with opposite landscape views on either side. Tall cylindrical neck with pierced chilong scrolling handles, basketweave border, scrolling lingzhi; flowing streams of chrysanthemums and pendant leaves.
Marked as if Qing Dynasty - Kangxi period (1662-1722); though surface and color suggest later dating. Made for export to Europe or America.
