About the Item
An unusual print, sometimes seen on mugs; exceptionally rare to find it on a jug. King George II died in 1760, and so any Worcester commemoratives of him are scarce. The print commemorates the King’s naval battles, and also has the Worcester mark and rebus sometimes found on transfer prints of this period.
