Exquisite set of six contemporary Japnese gilded hand-painted Porcelain dessert plates in vivid red, blue and green generously decorated with gold, with an intricate flower and gold patternwith a stunning scalloped pattern around the rim is inspired by Meissen in Germany, with the history of creating extraordinary porcelain for centuries. This beautiful set is produced by one of the most respected Japanese porcelain companies with the history of producing exceptional porcelain pieces. Imari-Arita region of Japan has a history of more than 400 years of exporting the finest porcelain produced in that region. There was a fascination for Arita ware amongst Europian aristocracy. Meissen was inspired by famed kakiemon from Arita and this piece was re-inspired by Meissen. It is a full 360 degree cycle! This beautiful set of porcelain plates comes in an attractive gift box.
