About the Item

Salvador Dalí (1904-1989) world-famous Spanish painter, graphic artist, and sculptor of surrealism, took inspiration from Don Quichotte Spanish novel written in the 17th century by Miguel de Cervantes, designed this wonderful dish on the front and back and inscribed, number. 320/1000 in its original case. The production was entirely handcrafted in the Royal Limoges workshop French Master porcelain, since 1798. It is a beautiful high quality made with a relief technique that plays with the light on each fruit and leaves. The result is very nice to enjoy. The subject of this work appears in the catalogs reasoned field 69-11a / Michler & Lopsinger # 427 and Sahli # 180 this work was produced with the authorization of Dali by JP Schneider / Wucua. Copy n ° 1 is held by the Gala Dali Foundation.
