Heading : Pair of Bloor Derby named view twin handled urn vases Date : c1825 -40 Period : George IV Marks : Red Crown Bloor Derby mark - named views "View in Wales" and "View in Derbyshire" Origin : Derby, England Colour :Polychrome Pattern : Urn shaped vases with scrolled handles, blue ground porcelain with richly gilded swags, foliate designs, and scrolls, painted bucolic views in Wales and Derbyshire. Probably the work of Daniel Lucas Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks - minimal wear to gilding Restoration : The bases have been drilled possibly with the intention of converting to lamp bases Dimensions : 23cm height, 20.2cm max width Weight : 1850 grams
