A Fine Swansea London decorated Porcelain Dish, c1820 Additional information: Date : Circa 1820 Period : George III /George IV Marks :Stencilled in red upper case 'Swansea' and a faint painted No4 Origin : Swansea, Wales Colour :Polychrome and gilt Pattern : The small central panel enclosing a castle and river landscape. The wide border featuring large pink and related exotic roses, convolvulus and other flora against dense foliage interspaced by finely gilt ferns. The rim edged in gilt Features: Retains original paper relating to having been in the celebrated Sir Leslie Joseph Collection numbered No 1733 Condition :Good Restoration None Dimensions : Diameter 22.5 cms
