First Period Worcester porcelain fancy bird-decorated double-leaf dish, Circa 1768 The Worcester porcelain molded dish is made in the form of two overlapping leaves. Across the painted center is a swag of green leaves with three exotic "Fancy Birds" in the center with others nearby. Around the rim are four butterflies and two bugs. Dimensions: 10 inches wide x 7 1/2 inches deep x 1 1/4 inches high Reference: Worcester Porcelain, 1751-1790: The Zorensky Collection, Simon Spiro & John Sandon, Page 198, #217 for a similar dish.
