About the Item
Luxurious and cheerful, the Florida collection was launched in 2023. It is inspired by the American state famous for its strong character and colorful heritage. Each line is characterized by a color. They are inspired by some of the most famous places in Florida, recalling its beaches and its sunsets, stretching between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean.
Palm Beach pink, Miami orange, Amelia green, Naples yellow, Crystal tourqoise, Islamorada lavender.
Each plate is decorated with a lightly colored center interspersed with multicolor dots. The rim is richly decorated golden leafs. The charger, tea and coffee cups have are decorated with a golden net- The dessert plates and teapots have a distinct design characterized by golden rays crisscrossing their surface.

In my work, atavistic memories of a rural past intersect with beauty to create something unique, like a diamond shimmering on the naked ground." Coralla Maiuri lends her sensitivity to the creation of ceramics and porcelains that seem dreamy and familiar at the same time. It is as if plates bowls cups vases sculptures and jars were small universes. Experimentation of materials and decorations never stops in a swirl of creativity. Each object is entirely hand-decorated in Italy from the finest porcelain.

Chase Gamblin
Chase Gamblin is an artist primarily working in ceramics. Currently, he is an Academic Specialist and Studio Coordinator for the Ceramics Department at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Gamblin received his BFA in Ceramics at the Appalachian Center for Craft in Smithville, TN in 2007. He then studied and received his MFA in Ceramics at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Gamblin traveled nationally and internationally for residencies in Vicchio, Italy (2008), Sanbao, China (2009 and 2012) and University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND (2010-2011), where he also taught as a ceramics visiting lecturer.
