Mid-19th Century Pair of Valentine Porcelain Vases

About the Item

Pair of baluster-shaped?porcelain?vases produced by Valentine Manufactory (1832-1878) in Saint-Gaudens, France. They are decorated on one side with multicolored rural motives in medallions highlighted with gold scrolls and arabesques. Each vase has two short, foliated handles. Light wear to the gilding. A vase with slight chip. circa 1850 Dimensions: W 5.5 in, D 4.9in, H 8.7in. Dimensions: L 14cm, P 12.5cm, H 22cm.
