Pair of porcelain fish cabinet plates by Fischer Mieg Pirkenhammer, 1873-1918. These matching plates feature three fish swimming in the water in shades of blue with heavily gilded design and a scalloped gilt edge. The decorations are in gold and use an abundance of raised gold paste to give the three dimensional effect. Backstamp: Helmet Hammers and Banner.
