Pair of Early 19th Century Darte Brothers Porcelain Plates

Pair of antique Darte Brothers cobalt blue porcelain plates magnificently painted with the French countryside, featuring cows, goats and sheep, decorated with gold rims. Each with the original Darte Brothers Palais Royal signature mark in red ink. Circa first quarter of the 1800s, Empire Period, Paris.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. generally good, though there is fading of the gold on the edge of the rim on one of the plates, see last two photos.
