Pair of Spode 19th C Pierced Green Chestnut Baskets & Under Plates

About the Item

This pair of rare 19th c Spode Chestnut bowls are in amazing original condition and feature a green enamel leaf motif with pierced border. Each has two handles and basketweave on both the baskets and the matching under plates. Retailed later by Shreve, Crump and Low, these are rare to find as pairs, especially in the excellent condition and vibrant, colorful enamel decoration. The bowls measure 7.75" in diameter x 2.50" tall and the plates measure 9.6" in diameter x 1" Tall. Made in England Ca. 1820's.
