About the Item

One of the more exclusive dinnerware patterns to leave the factory, the Dagmar pattern was very expensive to produce because of the gold work and the green color. The pattern number is 988 and has a cream base, pale green band and sides, and a gold encrusted band. Thorkild Olsen (1890-1973) designed this pattern in the 1930s. He also did many other dinnerware services for Royal Copenhagen. This particular grouping was manufactured mostly in the 1940's.
