Schoelcher Manufacture : Empire Paris porcelain sauce boat 19th century - signed

About the Item

Empire Paris Porcelain sauce boat ; bearutiful 19th century production enhanced with fine gold, decorated with hand-painted polychromatic flowers, antique-style masks on the sides, a palm-shaped handle on top. Our piece is signed Schoelcher under the base (Marc Schoelcher, famous French porcelain maker, very successful during Empire and French Restoration periods). It is in outstanding condition given its 200 years ; gilt is superb including on the handles, colors are fresh and bright. No accident, no lack. A tableware collector, rare item to find.
