Set of 15 Aesthetic Movement Hand Painted Dessert Plates Plates w/ Botanicals

About the Item

This set of hand painted botanical dessert plates feature a vibrant floral subject in a varied palette and each is framed by an unusual Impressionistic border that moves from dark teal green and fades subtly to a soft shade of green highlighted with gold. The 15 plates feature a wide variety of flowers including begonias, orchids and primroses. Unmarked but attributed to Old Paris, these date stylistically from the turn of the century, painted in the Aesthetic Movement style, ca. 1890-1900.
