Worcester Crested Plate, for the House of O'Brien, c. 1813
About the Item
Features a gilded gadrooned border and a apple green ground color, with a central panel containing the heraldic crest of the O'Brien family. The motto reads in Latin: "Vigueur de Dessus" translated: "Strength is from Above"

A detailed printed and impressed mark on reverse, shown in Image 5, featuring the Prince of Wales feathers, showing the piece was made during the 1813-1820 Regency period.
