Whieldon Type Creamware Cow Creamer and Cover, Circa 1770 The attractive early Whieldon type creamware cow creamer and cover stands on a rectangular base with a fluted edge. The creamer and base are sponged in browns and green with a tortoise-shell decoration. Dimensions: 4 3/4 inches high x 5 1/2 inches wide x 1 3/4 inches. Provenance; British Private Collection; D.M. & P. Manheim, NYC (paper label). (NY10532-icrr)
