Set of Four French Green & Brown Glazed Terracotta Pots & Jars, 19th Century
Large Green glazed terracotta vessel unglazed with green glaze on the inside and dripped around the tops down the sides. One side principally unglazed. grooved design event in terracotta. Chipped finish at rim. 18.75" high x 12.5" wide x 12" deep, 9" (outside to outside opening). Cracks and/or earlier repair evident on lower side of vessel.
Green, orange, yellow ombre design glazed terracotta pot, two small arms on either side. Glazed on inside and top quarter of pot, drippng down one side. 12" diameter x 15" high, (7.75" opening- outside). Chip to rim, chips to finish and overall wear to finish.
Brown/mustard glazed terracotta pot with four arms (one arm missing). Glazed on inside and top quarter of vessel. 13" wide x 12" deep x 13" high, (8.5" opening - outside). Losses to finish, missing one arm, otherwise good overall condition.
Deep Green Glazed Terracotta Jug with two broad arms and a small spout and open neck. Finish is glazed on inside and completely dripped on the outside of jug. 10.5" wide x 11" deep x 14.5" high, 4" round opening at top. Loss to finish, 2" sized hole at back. Structrucally sound, nice looking for decorative purposes.
