White painted terracotta sculpture.
Signed and dated 1948.
Vadim ANDROUSOV used to work with the major French decorators as Andre ARBUS, Gilbert POILLERAT or JANSEN in the 40'.
During the period from 1935 until 1955, many bas reliefs of similar spirit and style are to be seen in the Andre Arbus interiors reproduced notably in Plaisir de France of January and February 1949 as well as in the book by Yvonne Brunhammer dedicated to the work of Andre Arbus.
