Antique 19th Century Victorian stunning set of six silver plated napkin holders and butt markers. Each napkin holder is engraved with highly-decorative flowers and birds in the oriental Japanise inspired style. The set comes in an original leather bound case. Each napkin holder is hallmarked "E P N S" (electroplated nickel silver), Maker's mark F.W.S (Frederick Wilson & Co), Sheffield, circa 1880.

These fine antique George V sterling silver menu card holders have circular shaped bases.
Each piece is surmounted with an impressive wishbone* shaped design with a paralleling shaped support.
The subtly convex bases are encircled with an elevated scalloped border.
The weighted bases of these impressive menu holders are fitted with green baize to the underside.
This impressive set of antique silver menu card holders is fitted to the original hinged leatherette box with satin and velvet lined interior, secured with two hinged catches.
The interior of the box bears the retailer's mark 'Robert Stewart (Jewellers) Ltd, 75 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow'.
A wishbone, otherwise known as the furcular, is a forked bone found in birds and some dinosaurs.
The main function of the bone is to provide strength between the neck and breast, to protect the creature during battle.
